MAGIC's Woodlawn String Instrument Program is starting it's second session on September 8, 2007. This string instrument program focuses on teaching the violin, violin, or cello to children ages 4-6 using the Suzuki method. Twenty-two dedicated students and their parents were enrolled in this pilot program and due to the great response from their children, there will be twenty-one parents returning for the second session. Interviews were held for new students and their parents on July 28th, 2007 at the MAGIC office located at 950 East 61st Street.
